I needed to improve the reception from a University's free WiFi service close to my home. Prior to get the Alfa AWUS036NEH adapter, I used a standard WiFi adapter, and it was very poor to connect to the network or no connection at all. When I installed the Alfa AWUS036NEH, it was awesome. It incredibly increased from maybe 20% to +70% the intensity level of connection, I set the Alfa AWUS036NEH with the omni antenna and with the appropriate orientation.
